Both men and women are usually advised to be careful when choosing their spouses.
In a relationship, the spouse that do get abused either sexually, physically or emotionally are most likely females.
Most abusers keep their victims locked up in their control and manipulation, by trying to convince her that he would change, that he has changed or that such abuse (in what ever form it is coming) would be the last.
One thing for certain is that an abuser that physically abuse would never pick a lady he knows is physically built and a disadvantage to his overall intentions.
In an abusive relationship, there are questions that fleet’s through the minds of the victims. Questions like
