My key takeaway from this read is the profound impact of an open feedback culture and the practice of candour on team performance. Our employees were learning more from one another and teams were accomplishing more — faster. This was increasing individual motivation and satisfaction and leading the entire company to get more done. We found that being surrounded by the best catapulted already good work to a whole new level.

Increasing Candor: The Heart of Open Feedback

For our employees, transparency has become the biggest symbol of how much we trust them to act responsibly.

At Netflix, it is tantamount to being disloyal to the company if you fail to speak up…you could help the business — but you are choosing not to.
