Amanda Cerny is known for her hilarious Vine and YouTube videos. She had over 4 million followers on Vine (when it was still around) and currently has 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube. Other than being a social media star, Amanda is also a fitness professional, model, philanthropist, actress, and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

So how exactly did Amanda switch gears from modeling to comedy? While studying at Florida State University, Amanda’s friend suggested that she submit her photos to a modeling agency. The modeling agency flew her to Los Angeles for a photoshoot that helped her begin her modeling career. She appeared on the cover of “Health & Wellness” magazine. It wasn’t until she started posting hilarious videos on Vine and YouTube that she became famous. She wanted to prove to people that a pretty girl can have a personality. Other than posting comedic videos, Amanda also enjoys posting videos of her workout routine. Creating videos for Vine and YouTube sparked Amanda’s interest in acting. She has made several guest appearances in shows and has landed small rolls in movies. She has a recurring roll in “Adam Devine’s House Party,” a comedy TV series on Comedy Central.

Amanda volunteered with charities in Haiti regularly in 2010. Her passion for helping others prompted her to establish her own charity in that country called the Play Foundation. She frequently posts about charities on her social media account to raise awareness about the foundation. Along with other social media stars, Amanda was invited to speak at the Forbes Under 30 Summit in 2015 to introduce the launch of Jerry Deifer’s app ChangUr. ChangUr is an app that allows users to round up their mobile wallet purchases and donate the difference to causes they care about.
