March 26–27 in New York, NY

Building on the success of previous conferences (see the website for 2017 highlights), this summit aims to be the “premier sustainability and communications conference... The 2018 sustainability conference will bring together the leading minds in responsible business to debate the key issues and opportunities in responsible and sustainable business.”

Speakers include leaders from such well-known companies as BlackRock, Heineken, Citi, UPS, Nokia and Mars. Organizations represented on panels include Oxfam, UN Women, GRI, World Wildlife Fund and the SASB Foundation.

Unique to the Responsible Business Summit this year are separate “tracks” for attendees to further customize their experience. These tracks emphasize how companies can create new models for industry change, work together in the search of a common goal, and leverage communications to boost trust.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a common theme throughout the Summit. We are especially interested in learning more about the extent to which companies are integrating the Global Goals into their CSR activities and reporting. And we look forward to hearing about the best practices of industry leaders who are integrating the SDGs into their supply chains and core business models. These discussions could highlight trends for startups who are looking to partner with large corporations to advance progress towards achieving the 2030 agenda.

Also noteworthy on the agenda is the importance of technology, especially artificial intelligence, on the future of ethical business decision-making. Specifically, Tuesday’s AI Keynote will examine how business can ensure that impending large-scale technology changes positively impact society.

If you can’t be in Brooklyn this week you can still follow along live on Twitter @Ethical_Corp or #RBSNY.
