The open road and speed

Competition is awesome. It makes us do amazing stuffs

Today while driving, I observed a pattern. As soon as another car came closer to mine, I sped up and took a good lead. If there were another car trying to overtake, I instantly geared up and made sure to keep it ahead of the other one. But as soon an open road came, I slowed down and kept a cool speed for a long time.

The your car is your venture and other cars are competition. There will be time of no competition and it’ll make you lazy. Innovation rarely spurs out of such phases.

While as soon you have competition, the speed fastens. We hire awesome people, start using amazing technology and create something great.

We do the same thing with our jobs and ventures. We need competition to tell us how fast to go.
