We can’t underestimate the importance of communication and networking within the business community. That’s why coworking spaces and startup hubs are definitely the places to check out if you’d like to widen your circle within the startup field.

Workland provides flexible tailor-made solutions for people in need of workspace, virtual office or meeting rooms.

Recently, we had a chance to visit their office in the centre of Tallinn and had a chat with Marju Sokman (Head of Marketing & Communication) and Eliisa Metsoja (Community Manager). We’ve got an excellent overview of their coworking spaces across the Baltics, got the glimpse of everyday life in the centre and heard about many different community activities. We can say that it is a very nice place to get things done, meet new people, get inspired and have an excellent time while working.

First Workland centre in Tallinn was opened in 2016, at the moment there are 8 Workland centres across the Baltics, in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius and Kaunas.

They showed us their office around and we can say that it is a very nice place to get things done, meet new people, get inspired and have a nice time while working.

Workland is all about the flexibility — they follow the needs of the customers and aim to create the most comfortable environment for them.

As I mentioned, their story is very interesting. So let’s dig into it!

Here’s what we talked about:

How would you describe the concept of Workland?

Workland is a diverse coworking space that offers an inspirational working environment for people and companies to thrive in. You can either rent a private office for your team or choose a suitable desk in the cosy coworking area. The logic is simple; you rent a workstation, not the square meters. That means you can use the whole centre, additionally to your working area several rest areas, kitchen, lounge, meeting rooms, phone booths etc. Offering a variety of services and well-designed space, our centres are perfect for getting the work done, have meetings, record podcasts, create content and organise events.
