In addition, people can type the username directly into the web browser after(www.facebook.com/) to find your page. So the username is going to be the URL that allows people to quickly visit and find your page. That’s why it has be a unique name since it basically acts like your website domain.

Since Facebook keeps updating its user experience and previously we used to choose the username when first creating a Facebook business page. But now as you can see in this screenshot, it’s not a required field anymore when you first create a page. So when your page is created, you will still have to update the username later.
Changing the username from your business profile dashboard
Now there are two ways to change or update your Facebook business page username. The first is to click on the account button in the top right corner of the tool bar as shown below. Make sure that you have switched from your personal profile to your business profile in this case it’s “Quickerfly”.
Then tab on “Settings & privacy” and the settings menu will show up.
Now select the “Settings” option and you will be redirected to the “General Page settings” where you can update/edit the Page’s name and username.
Make sure that you select a unique username so if someone has already taken your business name, try to be a little bit more creative while keeping it in alignment with your business.
Changing the username from your Meta business suite dashboard
Now you can also update or change your username from your Meta business suite, first head to your meta business suite by typing the URL (www.business.facebook.com) in the web browser and select your business page in this case it’s “Quickerfly”, and then select “Settings” from the left menu as shown.
Now you will be redirected to the “General Page settings” where you can update/edit the Page’s name and username.
