Once your organization has taken the pledge, proudly display the pledge icon for the current year on your website with a link to the pledge website to let the world know your organization is being intentional about building a diverse team and inclusive culture.
Also write blog articles about your company’s efforts toward implementing the pledge and consider submitting blog content to the diversity pledge to share your experiences.
Have the head of your organization announce to the organization and to the board of directors that the company has taken the diversity pledge and why. Continue to communicate both your successes and challenges in implementing the various aspects of the pledge.
Having this type of dialogue with your team opens up the opportunity for people to make suggestions on how to make your organization better because they will know that the senior management is supportive of building a diverse team and inclusive culture.
