I normally don’t do product/app reviews on Medium, but there’s a first for everything right? — and my motto always is, “sharing is caring.” So with that in mind, I wanted to share a cool app I came across via Twitter & Product Hunt, called nugget (I've gone ahead and linked the product’s feature on Product Hunt). Founded by Ovi Negrean, the app basically is “a highly visual app that helps you discover, remember and share the best content of books that make you better.” — According to its product description.

Basically, it’s a quick summary of some of the best quotes/sayings from famous notable books and people, aka a high powered “Tinder for books.” I’ve been browsing around the app, and its pretty simple to use. When you log in, it asks you to select a few topics that interest you. From there, it pulls up a bunch of recommendations based off your choices. Voila~! You can now browse through and read ‘nuggets’ of your choice. See screen below:

The app also allows you to ‘heart’ or ‘x’ a summary — most likely to help sort out future nuggets for you based off of your interests. In addition to that, the product allows for easy social sharing, copying text, and sharing via email. So, if you personally like something or feel that it has meaning to you, you can easily share with a tap. I took the liberty to showcase an example using Sun Tzu’s— “Ponder and deliberate before you make a move.” from the app below:

Overall, the app is really neat and unique. I’ve always wished to have something like this that helps me quickly quote something that I like, or want to share. Being in the entrepreneurial world, it sometimes is great to be able to read something that gives you motivation. Others might agree with my sentiments as well. It’s tough sometimes, to push yourself to the limit. There’s nothing like a little motivation and some relaxation from the thoughts and minds of others to keep pushing you forward! On that note, I highly suggest you check this app out if you have time. Great work Ovi!
