Times are changing, people are adapting –– and we are, too! Over the last few months, the Startup Grind team has been sourcing and creating as many relevant and high-value opportunities as we can to support our startup community in today’s world.

Today, we’re extremely excited to introduce these new ways for startups to stay connected with experts and peers — not only during these trying times, but throughout their journey of building a company.

Check out what’s new for you from Startup Grind.

A Brand New Online Membership for Startups

For 10 years, the Startup Grind team has been educating and connecting entrepreneurs and startup teams through world-class, in-person experiences all over the globe. This year, these same people — our people! — need each other more than ever, and have been asking for a way to stay connected so they can continue to learn and develop even from afar.

We moved as fast as we could to meet the needs of this increasingly interconnected global community by rolling out a new online resource: The Startup Grind Membership. This new membership allows startups to get support wherever they are (online or in-person) at any stage (early stage or high-growth) and all year round.

As a member, you’ll get access to an online community of experts and peers. You’ll be invited to members-only online & offline events where you’ll be able to network with and learn from some of the most experienced people in the tech world. Finally, you’ll have access to opportunities that’ll get your company in front of a global audience that’s made up of investors, partners, mentors, and future customers from across the world.

There are two types of Startup Memberships, which, if you’re familiar with our Conferences, reflect our two Startup Program tracks:

  • Grind — Recommended for early-stage startups that have typically raised less than $3M in funding and are in a pre- or early revenue stage.
  • Growth — Recommended for more advanced early-stage companies that have typically raised between $3M-$10M in funding and moving towards the growth stage of their trajectory.

To apply (or learn more about the full membership, including our other tier offerings) please reference the membership website here.

Hundreds of Monthly #SGVirtual Events Last Month — and Counting

In addition to our new membership, Startup Grind’s event, content, and community teams have leaned heavily into hosting and curating online events to help the community stay connected virtually. This has been a fast and furious pivot — as we’ve traditionally focused on in-person events—but it’s one that has yielded an incredible response and heightened engagement. It’s been amazing to see how content can be shared and community created without the physical barriers we’re used to.

Last month alone we had events featuring top founders, startup leaders, and VC’s from 40+ countries including Wuhan, Barcelona, Seattle, and Melbourne. This month we’ve got an equally amazing lineup to look forward to — take a peek at the full calendar here.

We’ll continue to share new #SGvirtual events with our community in the coming months. In addition, Startup Members will have exclusive access to live weekly online courses and intimate Q+A’s with experts from the top companies in the world, tailored specifically to early to mid-stage startups.
