The cohort of seven early-stage, AI-driven startups from across North America have worked closely with Intuit to build upon innovative solutions helping to overcome some of today’s biggest financial challenges. This year’s Demo Day was packed with insights, featuring a fireside chat with serial entrepreneur and Dragon’s Den venture capitalist, Michele Romanow, and polished pitches from the participating founders.

The day demonstrated the impact and accelerated growth that is possible when startups and large corporations collaborate.

The Intuit Prosperity Accelerator™:AI is a partnership between Intuit and Highline Beta that brought together seven of the most promising early-stage, AI-driven, startups from top technology hubs including Montreal, Toronto, New York and San Francisco to help consumers and small businesses overcome financial challenges.

This five-month program was laser-focused and tailored to the participating startups’ needs, including but not limited to addressing issues related to customer engagement, consumer credit-building, and marketing.

Intuit provided in-depth product and technology expertise through dedicated sessions and connections to their exclusive network of highly qualified Innovation Catalysts (ICs), AI mentors and other experts to support the startups’ priority needs. Startups were able to leverage Intuit’s Customer Connect program to obtain insights from, conduct experiments with and test their solutions with Intuit customers.

Startups were given the opportunity to leverage Intuit’s design-thinking methodology, Design for Delight (D4D),paying close attention to its three defining principles: deep customer empathy, go broad to go narrow, and rapid experiments with customers, followed by quick iterations and measurable results.

The program concluded with an inspiring Demo Day hosted in partnership with TechTO and promoted by Startup Grind. The event featured an opening fireside chat with Intuit Canada Country Manager David Marquis and Michele Romanow, Dragon’s Den venture capitalist and CEO of Clearco, followed by pitches from each of the participating startups:
