Can we raise ~5BTC or 80ETH in 24 hours for the best program in NYC preparing kids to build the future?

Back story: As a product of NYC, I am acutely aware of the importance of investing in underrepresented kids. And that means more than money. It means supporting with sustainability and future proofing in mind. If you are a person who wants to level the playing field, BUILD is the youth empowerment organization that prepares students for the real world through entrepreneurship. Because it is all about learning by doing.

Programs that support, cultivate and educate kids need budget to be sure but they also need to be tethered to the future. So, as a board member of BUILD NYC, an org using entrepreneurship to engage and prepare kids, I had a crazy thought: What if I tried something different this year?

What if, in addition to giving/raising money forBUILD, I crowdsourced investment in “the future” of the org and these amazing kids.

I want my fellow futurists and enthusiasts to join me in supporting the best program in NYC preparing kids for the 21st century workforce. And I want you to do it with Bitcoin and/or Ethereum. Why? Because I want you invested in BUILD and I want the kids of BUILD invested in and thinking about the future. I want them participating. I want them to know that the people investing in the future of the internet ARE ALSO INVESTING IN THEM.

We’ll budget up to half to be turned into fiat and donated to BUILD on your collective behalf with all contributors named. And we’ll get an account set up for BUILD to long term HODL.
