Boulder Startup Week, is a free, five-day event that is taking place in downtown Boulder all this week. There are over 120 events in incredible spaces all over Boulder. This wouldn’t be possible without our amazing sponsors like Boulder Engineering Studio! Want to learn more? Read on.
Mechanical, electrical, software, Boulder Engineering Studio is so adaptable they can do it all! They have applications ranging from aviation navigation tools, children’s toys and industrial designs. Say you’re looking to build a new product and it’s a connective device. Well first, their services cover a lot, from the concept of your idea, to researching and validation before even getting into design and prototyping. This way, they can understand your project and hit the ground running when they get to the design stage. They do whatever is necessary to get you a prototype. From testing, to moving into optimization, design for manufacture, and anything else you and your product needs before going into the manufacture stage. And once your product gets there, don’t worry, they’ll help with that too!
Boulder Engineering Studio does everything they can to help you make sure technology is viable and cost effective and implemented in the way that you want. They will setup projections then move into design, which can include a mechanical cad, electrical design, schematics, etc. They will put it all together, and then have a functional demo test with you in their office. Moving on you (the client) gets to test it on your own and give any feedback needed for improvements. Then they get it ready to go to be made on a larger scale and get onto shelves. This may require certifications, and they help navigate this process, getting you setup with labs, making sure they’re doing price optimization, getting rid of any extra costs. They can make sure they have the right strategy to make sure you have the right manufacturer, etc. They are currently working on some fun projects: Hemera Project’s Q Band, a company that presented at Boulder Beta last night.
This is Boulder Engineering Studio’s first year sponsoring Boulder Startup Week. The startup industry in Colorado is incredibly supportive and collaborative, especially in Boulder. A lot of their customers and clients are startups, and they love the energy and mentality! They’ve been on the receiving end of this supportive and collaborative community, and can’t wait for next week.
