#BSW15 Startup Stories with Sue Kunz & Praful Shah

Join angel investor Praful Shah as he speaks with Sue Kunz above during Boulder Startup Week’s Startup Stories. Kunz is CEO of ThriveOn, a cluster of technology-based companies targeted at the baby-boomer demographic.

Sue Kunz started her career in computer science, but quickly realized she wasn’t made for sitting in front of her computer all day, and moved into product marketing. She’s split her time on the corporate side (IBM and Sun Microsystems) and the startup side (founding Solidware Technologies). With both her enterprise and startup experience, Kunz has become a valuable mentor for both Techstars and Unreasonable Institute. The hardest thing she’s done so far? Making the switch from enterprise to startup, where one must be much more resourceful. When Kunz first worked in a startup, she and her colleagues would call each other out on “enterprise thinking.”
