Get over yourself!!!
Something I will never do in business is take things personally. With that said, some people just can’t help themselves!!
I recently worked with a “middle man” that was trying to secure a deal. Ultimately the deal didn’t make sense and I declined the offer. As much as I thought this individual was a friend, the business decision has driven this individual to deny me anymore friendship.
Because of this, I felt it was necessary to blast out an article and encouraging people to reflect upon their core.
If you’re someone that desires to get into business and has a problem with rejection or “No” than it’s absolutely not something I recommend you pursue for yourself. Get a job, make a paycheck and enjoy your life.
Being an Entrepreneurial is not a casual endeavor that is loaded with getting wins all the time. Obviously it’s important to get your wins, but you have to be able to work through the losses. When you’re building a business it’s a very lonely road and you cannot afford to take shit personal.
I don’t want to dive deep with tips and beat this concept into the ground. It’s just important to reflect upon ones self and decide if you can take the pressure. Sure you will loose out on some deals, but at the end of the day, relationships are all that we have. I prefer to treat other personally with respect and I’m the kind of person that could be on the flip side of this deal and immediately grab a pint and move on after.
