How many times has your stress level hit the top? How many times have you been troubling sleeping ? For those moments,all you need,is a soothing melody. However, none of us has the time to search for that perfect playlist. Keep reading,because we might have found the answer you’ve been looking for.
As we mentioned before,we have been struggling with the same problem and through extensive research, we run into Endel.
So,what is Endel after all?
Endel is a German start-up,founded in January 2018 by Oleg Stavitsky. Endel is a small team of artists, developers, and scientists who have worked together on lots of digital projects, including the award-winning kids’ app series, BUBL. Endel is a 2018 Techstars Music Accelerator company.
Endel is a cross-platform audio ecosystem. It creates personalized, sound-based, adaptive environments that help people focus and relax,to give body and mind what it needs to achieve total immersion in any task.
So,how & where can i access Endel?
All you have to do is download Endel (available for Android and IOS) to your:
- wearables
- mobile
- voice assistants (Alexa)
- smart home
- desktop
- (and soon to be in) cars
Endel has 4 modes: Relax/ Focus/ On-the-go/ Sleep
The core algorithm is based on circadian rhythms,pentatonic scale and sound masking. The sounds adapt to different inputs like time of the day,weather,heart rate and location. The music app aims to create 20 albums this year ,the 5 albums that have been released are called Clear Night, Rainy Night ,Cloudy Afternoon, Cloudy Night and Foggy Morning,all based around different types of sleep. The 15 upcoming albums will be focused on the other modes such as Focus, Relax and On-the-go.
We don’t even regard our soundscapes as music. Endel is a technology that generates adaptive sound environments that help people focus, relax, and sleep

Of course, we had to test the app before informing you about it. Endel provides a really lovely ambient backdrop to focus,relax,anything that benefits from calm and clarity of mind. Its effective over speakers/sound bar or in earphones. Endel shows thoughtful craftsmanship and is a pleasure to use. What differentiates Endel from others is the exceptional UX, a team highly responsive to product feedback and a exciting vision fow where they’re taking the product.
