Let’s know the “AudiOn”

AD& PR Lab at Panteion University set us again towards an innovation challenge. This time, as part of the Start up Lab, we were invited to create our own audio start up. The opportunity in this field is evident as the imperatives of modern marketing content stipulate that text is not enough, and video is too much; social audio is just right. Through audio the desired social connection and empathy is achieved without the downsides of video.

The starting point of our reasoning was to find a way to familiarize businesses in the almost unknown fields of audio content. As active observers of marketing promotion of enterprises we noticed a rigidity in this. So, the solution comes through AudiOn. It is an audio consulting agency and a sound design studio. Our team undertakes briefs, consults adaptable audio content -which responds to each business’ medium needs- and, finally, produces it (B2B model).

It is certain that you listened to your favorite music on radio and you were suddenly disturbed by an advertisement. You wish this to stop because it is quite annoying. Οur aim is to be the missing link between businesses and their audience, in order to create engageable audio content or advertisements. We should all agree that every business has a double primary aim at the end of the day: gain loyalty & influence its audience. If the business’ marketing activities are oriented towards the promotion of their products or services easily and quickly, it will not be possible to provide valuable content that people will want to share and then interact with them.

Furthermore, we want to be active in the Greek market, in which there is not a corresponding company with this 360° approach (as we are both an audio consulting agency and a sound design studio) to audio and music for communication. We want to be specialized in social media audio content and in adaptability in audio content. The aim is to keep up with the digital transformation around the audio, but the voice of the content that we will create has character, which is not synthetic and distancing from the recipient of the message.

So, at first, we created the business model canvas. The main point worth mentioning is that the revenues will come through collaborations with businesses and organizations.

In the continuum, we created the value proposition canvas. Through this we recognize the issues resulting from the lack of suitable audio content according to every platform and audio mentorship. However, if a business or organization collaborates with us, we will produce in each case an adaptable and more creative content.

But how will we make the start up known? We will create a blog and a YouTube channel, which will be used as an online coaching platform. In this way, we will help our potential customers understand the concept of our start up and the value of audio innovation. Innovation is not only a genuine idea, but also a concept that fills a gap in an effective way. That’s our aim for the Greek audio market. The starting point of each idea is the enthusiasm we want to cultivate in every stage of our collaboration with businesses and organizations. Because with AudiOn you are always ON.
