Building A Meaningful Community For You

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about why having support matters for startup workers. We’ve had a good response for people to both join us and support us. Thank you!

Topics/questions emerging so far are:

  1. Salary expectations/general compensation in startups
  2. How to understand equity as an employee?
  3. How to balance workload/expectations?
  4. How can I get a mentor/coach to help me grow in my role?

I’m sure there will be lots more besides this. But for now, we will start to look at how we might begin to help in these areas.

OUR PURPOSE

It’s important to us to build meaningful community. We’re currently working on answering these questions:

1. Why does this community exist?

2. What does this community hope to achieve?

3. How will the startup community be different by having this community?

In other words the Golden Circle for Startuppers. We will share this in another post shortly.

WHAT’S NEXT

We’re creating a Startuppers slack community. Those who have signed up to join us will shortly receive invites to the Startuppers Slack. Here people will be able to start conversations, learn from each and explore how to help each other. If you’ve not signed up yet, you can do so here.

We always value your feedback. Drop us a note or ask us a question in the comments below. And if you support us, please hit the ❤ below. If you want to hear more don’t forget to follow us!
