Apple may delay the start of mass production of the new iPhone 12 line by at least a month. This was reported on April 27 by The Wall Street Journal.

The reason for this delay is the coronavirus pandemic, due to which the pace of work of the corporation’s factories in Asia has decreased, and global consumer demand for new gadgets has also fallen significantly.

According to available information, Apple usually starts mass production of new smartphones in early summer, then presents them at the traditional presentation in mid-September, and by the end of it begins sending new products to customers.

This year, Apple fans have been anticipating the release of four new iPhone models, some of which should have 5G support. However, Apple CEO Tim Cook said back in February that the coronavirus outbreak could negatively affect the release schedule of gadgets.

At the moment, the company itself has not given any official comments on this news. However, according to various sources, sales of new gadgets may begin around November, as was the case with the iPhone X in 2017.
