Converting from a business name to a Limited Liability Company

This has been our procedure for converting from a sole proprietorship or partnership to a company:

• When you are ready to register the company. You would fill out the
  application as normal
• The application must also include a letter of
  intent to close the business name within two weeks of the Company
  application.
• A form BN6 is to be filled out to remove the
  business name after the company registration is complete.
• If the business name certificate is still valid you have to carry in the certificate at the end of the process.
