The Companies Office of Jamaica is legally mandated to register business names and companies. Which means taking information on your business and putting it in a register. Other agencies can then look in this one register and do what they need to do with that information.

How our customers defined business registration

Our customers think that business registration is about being empowered to do business. They can get a bank accounts, sell products of their intellectual property, advertise and anything that the Jamaica Information Service tells them they can do under the law.

When they go to any government agency though, is empowerment the feeling they get, really?

Where does StartupRobot fit in the process.

We believe that disruption is about experiences not tech and therefore seek to satisfy the feeling of empowerment that would-be entrepreneurs desire. The law does not enforce noncompliance in Jamaica the way it is done in the United States, so we aim to offer that convenience, affordability, access to information and speed that makes people experience empowered to do business legitimately in Jamaica.

Where do others fit

We acknowledge their are others in the market that have a role to play. Attorneys, Accountants, Registration and Regulatory Agents offer services with the assistance in Company and business name registration. They provide valuable information, but information alone is not the experience our market is looking for.

Empower yourself

Business Registration is one step towards entrepreneurial empowerment. Visit startuprobot and let us help you on your entire journey.
