AlphaLab & AlphaLab Gear Applications Are Open and More Flexible Than Ever Before
We at AlphaLab and AlphaLab Gear believe that we should always give companies what they need, when they need it. So we’re making some enhancements to AlphaLab and AlphaLab Gear to make them more flexible and more accessible while continuing to provide the value these programs are known for: investment, deep one-on-one engagement, connections to our network of investors, mentors, partners, and customers, and tailored resources on topics such as sales, customer acquisition, business operations, and fundraising.
It’s easier than ever to apply to AlphaLab and AlphaLab Gear.
We’ve combined and simplified our application, asking only ‘need to know’ questions and assessing all companies — both hardware and software — via one application.
Our application is always open.
Founders can apply on their schedule, when they’re ready. Applications are evaluated as they are received, with investment decisions made at least four times per year.
Companies begin working with our team right away.
Companies selected by AlphaLab and AlphaLab Gear begin deep, one-on-one work with our team right away. Companies can also immediately be introduced to our network of investors, mentors, partners, and potential customers, as well as dynamic space in our East Liberty offices (as soon we can lift current COVID-19 restrictions).
Deep dive programming served à la carte.
Throughout the year, we offer programming to help companies with their most pressing priorities: sales, digital marketing/customer acquisition, fundraising, HR, and business operations. Companies can join these modules as they need them.
Companies continue to access sector-specific resources.
Although we’re streamlining some of our operations, we remain committed to building community among participating and alumni companies and offering specialized mentors, programming, and expertise to our companies. Hardware companies will continue to access AlphaLab Gear’s manufacturing-focused mentors, curriculum, and Scalable network of manufacturers. And software companies will continue to benefit from AlphaLab’s experienced mentors in SaaS, software product development strategies, and digital marketing/customer acquisition techniques.
