The AlphaLab Gear Hardware Cup international pitch competition returns to Pittsburgh on February 27.

In six years, the Hardware Cup has grown from a small competition in a few cities to one of the largest international competitions of its kind, including 15 US cities and 10 countries.

The Alphalab Gear Hardware Cup is once again a global competition with events across several countries worldwide. Within the US, we’re traveling to 6 cities: Pittsburgh, Boston, DC, Chicago, Raleigh, and San Jose. The winner from each competition will win $3,000 and prizes, then take an all-expenses-paid trip to Pittsburgh for the International Finals competition, scheduled for May 19, 2020, where startups will compete for the $50,000 grand prize.

The Pittsburgh Hardware Cup will be held on February 27 at 6:00 PM at the CMU Swartz Center of Entrepreneurship. Out of 12 Featured Companies, 6 hardware startups will pitch to local VCs & investors.
