BadVR Co-Founder and CEO Suzanne Borders

Suzanne Borders, the CEO and Co-Founder of BadVR, has always been obsessed with virtual reality.

Growing up in Kansas City, she was a hardcore trekkie and had always wanted a holodeck to transport herself to faraway places.

After being wowed by Oculus, she decided to start a VR or AR business. “I also have a great passion for data visualization, and a lot of experience working on data visualization projects. The two concepts were a natural fit in my mind.”

She waited until the winter of 2017 for the hardware to mature, then started BadVR with Co-Founder and CTO Jad Meouchy. Together, they created the world’s first immersive data visualization platform.

BadVR gives everyone the ability to step inside their data to discover valuable insights that inform decisions, and drive success. In a world of complex information, BadVR makes data-driven decisions as simple as putting on a headset.

They are currently in San Francisco at TechCrunch Disrupt, the world’s biggest and most impactful tech startup conference featuring the biggest names in tech, from Reid Hoffman to Kirsten Green to Dara Khosrowshahi.
