Hello Medium reader, and welcome to StartupTree Design! We are the creative force behind StartupTree, a startup helping grow college entrepreneurship across the world. Allow us to introduce ourselves and what we do, and how we plan to use this publication to connect with the community we are creating.

StartupTree was founded with two goals in mind: give college administrators the tools needed to manage, track and support student founders on their network while also providing the resources and guidance needed to help aspiring student entrepreneurs get their projects off the ground. We are bridging the gap between administrators, students and community members through creating opportunities for local and global collaboration. Our mission puts our team in the unique situation of creating a product for two completely different user groups, while also treating them as one.

This makes our job, as the designers, extremely fun.

With our amazing team and our ability to immerse ourselves in a problem, we focus on understanding users and in order to find a solution that works for everyone in the entrepreneurship community. We are made up of UX designers, engineers, graphic designers, product managers and business developers that have all respectively experienced both the college administrative struggles of managing an entrepreneurship network and the helpless feeling of trying to start a company as a full time student.

We use our own experiences and those of others to continue to develop a product that is helping both of these groups while simultaneously bringing them together.

With this publication we plan to use Medium to connect our team with the users we are designing for. Here we will write and share articles outlining our specific design processes for certain features as we continue to develop our product. We hope these stories will give our users an insight into what we do and how we do it, and help us achieve our goal of building a global entrepreneurship network.
