The ProtoAtlantic Accelerator program will help entrepreneurs and start-ups to take their products to the market, find the right customer/user segments, implement the right business model, generate revenue and user growth, develop scalable/profitable distribution channels, enhance the team’s knowledge on other areas, and, where appropriate, raise venture capital from investors who believe in their vision. This will be enabled through consultation and collaboration with a pool of mentors and experts specialised in the maritime sector.

Entrepreneurs and start-ups interested in applying should fall within one of the following categories;

  • PhD students, postdoctoral researchers or students with innovative ideas/projects or technologies, in the fields of renewable energy, blue robotics or biotechnology;
  • Entrepreneurs with initiatives in the maritime space or technologies applicable to this sector; or
  • Industries and SMEs, from maritime sector, with an idea/challenge/project in the sectors of renewable energy, blue robotics or biotechnology.

Interested parties should apply through the application form. Selected applicants will be assessed by interview prior to the commencement of the programme.
