Startup Hub at Shipping2030

We made it!
StartupWharf managed to get all pieces together to launch the first Startup Hub ever at a Shipping2030 conference, next 21–22 March in Copenhagen. And we were lucky we found a great sponsor, proactively supporting startup-driven innovation. Thank you Marlink! And thank you Shipping2030 for deciding to bring Startups in front of your Shipping audience in the first place.
At the Startup Hub shipping companies will be able to discover and interact with these strange beasts called Startups. They will get to know four startups and will join a discussion on how startups can support corporate innovation.
The participating startups are a cross section of different types of innovation possible in Digital Maritime, from all corners of Europe. They are:
- GoSea Digital from UK — handling the most complex crew management processes, from hours of rest to scheduling leave and more
- SailRouter from Croatia — enabling the first tailor made decision support system based on gathered real-world ship data
- Transmetrics from Bulgaria — logistic demand forecasting and network optimisation based on AI, Big Data and predictive analytics
- We4Sea from NL — supporting shipowners in optimising the fuel efficiency of their ships
We are very proud of such a diverse geographic scope which reflects our truly global mission to connect Corporates and Startups in Digital Maritime.
And proud of this success testifying our hands-on, result-oriented attitude to make things happen in Digital Maritime.
