A Public Bank for Chicago has been a hot topic in this race. But, like, what does that mean? Chicago Tribune explains.

Alderman

Ok, so a lot of y’all might not be in a ward with a run off. But if you are, pay attention to this one! Your alderperson is your voice in city council and has a lot of say over what happens in your neighborhood.

First, check out what ward you’re in. Then, check out NBC’s list of all the wards with a run-off.

And if you haven’t hit your limit of Tribune articles…check out what they have to say about the candidates.

We know info on these folks might seem slim…but go ahead and do a google search of the candidates in your ward. Check out their website and where they stand on issues you care about.

For the actual voting part…

Find your polling place- Don’t know where to go to vote? Check this out.

Check your voter Registration- Not sure if you’re registered? Check it out here.

How to register to vote- So the previous link told you that you aren’t registered :( Online registration is open until March 17th. After that, you can still register in person! Get the deets in our video/article.

Don’t. Forget. To. Make. A Plan. To Vote!

Vote early, vote by mail, or do it the old fashioned way, but make sure you have a plan. We don’t want y’all living with regret on April 3rd.
