Realo Feature Update #9: Agency Reviews

Last week, we discussed how Realo uses open data sources to arm future home buyers and seller with as much information as possible. Today, we’re introducing a new feature that gives more information about real estate agencies: agency reviews based on our users’ experience.

Information is key

When selling a home (or any other type of property), gathering information about the current real estate market and home prices is a crucial step. That’s why Realo uses open data sources to provide insights for each address in Belgium and help you set a correct asking price with the Realo Estimate®.

Because the real estate market is so unique and varies from one location to the other, it’s always a good idea to get advice from a local real estate agent. That’s why we offer free advice from local real estate professionals throughout the flow of posting your home for sale on Realo.

Not just any real estate agent

Depending on the postal code of your property, we select agents with local expertise to guide you through the process of selling or renting out your property. At that point, it’s up to you to decide which agent(s) you want to request professional advice from.

Realo is all about making your home-selling experience as good as possible, so we’re not offering advice from just any agency that happens to share a location with the property you’re selling. We carefully select trusted agents and connect you to the best rated agencies in your area. We are picky and so should you: selling your home is a huge project and it’s important to find the agent that is right for your location and type of property.

Agency Reviews

To help you decide on an agency we now offer client reviews of all real estate agencies. The star-rated system allows users to share their experience as a seller, buyer, renter or letter with a certain agent. They can also add more details to their review by writing positive and negative aspects about the agency.

Good to know: our system only allows writing reviews about properties that match past listings of the agency. Reviews are also moderated by Realo before they get published on the agency profile page. That way, you’ll always get genuine feedback from users who actually worked with that agency.
