Here is a summary of new features and updates from the last two weeks:
🚢 Connext v 2.0 launched on testnet!
- For the last several weeks, we have been working with Connext to help them build their v 2.0 using the Counterfactual framework
- On August 6, v 2.0 launched on testnet — more info here!
⚙️ API & Protocol Improvements
- Added the ability to submit withdrawal transactions without initiating channel party paying gas
- Incremental API improvements to provide better UX for Node RPC calls
- More resilient multisig deployments
💠 Protocol alignment with Magmo
- We are nearing completion of optimized shared contracts that implement our shared protocol in a gas optimized way
📱Wallet UX and test suite
- Our MetaMask integration Wallet UX now supports on-boarding, deposits and withdrawals with both ETH and ERC20 tokens from the Wallet UI.
- Adding more test scenarios to cover use of both ETH and ERC20. Once the deposit scenario is stable, we’ll move on to withdrawals.
- Started work on creating a Docker image to move the E2E runner to our CI pipeline, to increase confidence and stability to our steadily-flowing code changes.
