REFLECTIONS

The “Reflections” molds consist of distinct designs that were selected to represent the uniqueness of Staten Island, and how it differs from the rest of New York City. These molds include a peacock, deer, road-runner, horse, bulldog, eagle, turkey, train engine, baseball, sea turtle, lighthouse and heart. Each fiberglass mold was painted by a different artist and has been
touring Staten Island as a public art initiative for five months. Artwork has been displayed at various high profile locations and cultural institutions such as Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Gardens, National Lighthouse Museum and Sandy Hook Ground throughout the borough, representing the efforts to promote community involvement and creative outreach.
