Tweet it!
Given this day and age (and current Presidency!) — Twitter has proven to be the fastest, easy, and inexpensive way to notify the public. Fire and EMS Departments have caught on and often use social media to spread the word quickly to their constitutes.
Tweets can notify residents of active scenes and warnings….
Or to share their accomplishments….
StatEngine now makes this workflow seamless, by integrating directly with Twitter.
All tweets are controlled by you and you have the ability to edit and modify as desired before tweeting. Nothing will be tweeted without your approval and manual action. Lets try it out…..
- After logging into StatEngine, click the Twitter Icon.
2. Review and authorize the application
3. Once inside the app — check out your most recent Tweet Recommendations
4. Click the pencil icon on any recommendation to edit the tweet. From the popup screen you can,

- Select an image — optionally include a stock image
Lets add the #DCsBravest hashtag to the end of the text, add an overlay, and select an image. Once your done editing. Click Update
5. Back on the main app screen, we can see the changes have been reflected in the text. Click the eye icon to view the preview
