The growth of NEO

At NEO, the past few months have been kept busy. The network now represents a staggering 2,000,000+ Wallet Addresses, 500,000+ community members and more than 300 contributors across borders ready to deploy neo’s vision of blockchain to the world.

Neo’s vision lies the radical change of architecture carried by NEO 3.0, which is set to become a game changer in terms of enhanced stability and security, high throughput, optimized smart contract system and diverse application scenarios, all while being a truly devoted developer-friendly platform from which will eventually emanate new projects.

Whereas all the fuss has been legitimately directed towards this newly fresh design, the NEO team has also actively taken part in the integration of dapps by providing them the technical support, community outreach, promotional advice and all the bits and pieces that will eventually hand them the cards to their success.

Why we added NEO: from veteran to newcomers DApps

A trustful stamp for us at State of the DApps to integrate a new blockchain platform on our site, is when we see active applications building onto a new blockchain, in this case we saw Blockchain Cuties BLOCKLORDS and a few games from @0xgames.

Blockchain cuties Is the kind of game that anybody with an addiction to cuteness could approach. When you will get your hands on one of the available avatars ranging from puppies and cats all the way to fantasy creatures, you will breed them, collect them, test their unique skills in battles, arm them up and even level them-up. The cuties will be 100% personalized and belong to you. Alternatively, each of them can be either transferred or sold using smart contract just like a regular cryptocurrency.

In the same spirit of an economically-driven game yet with a completely different context, Blocklords stands as a grand strategy game set in medieval Europe, where ruthless conquerors, heroes and other war lords will trade items, take-over cities and earn interest on sales made within their boundaries. In this game only audacity and the art of war will prevail.

CardMaker is a full-fledged card game in which gamers have the power to customize card attributes while creating story modules. The game revolves around card strategy and Roguelike to finally let players make their own stories. More precisely, it focuses on combining the gameplay with finance characteristics by exploring creativity and token mining.

Another variant of war and battle on the neo blockchain can be illustrated by 0xWarriors. In this scenario a multiplayer team of battler manage a squad of up to five warriors and equip them with unique weapons and armor. Eventually players can purchase chests with various gear or win them in battles and trade for profit.

Last but not least, 0xRacer is a multiplayer open-economy racing game, where players get to own their cars, tune them up for better performance with unique auto parts and join epic racing events and profits while playing. This game will be available on Neo’s blockchain as soon as November 2019.
