We ran the numbers: our Selection Board is statistically awesome.

What is the Selection Board, you ask? Well, it's the people in charge of reviewing all the startup applications we receive for Station F’s Founders Program (and oh yes, there are lots).

The selection board is comprised of 100 entrepreneurs from 21 different countries, who all agreed to help us review startup applications. They will carefully analyze the teams, products and markets of our applicants.

That’s right: experienced founders from companies like Devialet, Buffer, Eventbrite, Docker, Soundcloud and more are looking at your applications.

We are incredibly lucky to have some of the best entrepreneurs in the world involved in our selection process at Station F. These are people who have been through the roller-coasters of entrepreneurship and who know how to spot the right teams to join our Founders Program.

Just to name a few:

  • Solomon Hykes, founder of Docker and based in the Silicon valley
  • Eric Wahlfoss, founder of Soundcloud, a German company with 175 million listeners (and counting)
  • Soraya Darabi, founder of Zady.com, an ethics-friendly consumer brand in the U.S
  • David Okuniev, founder and co-CEO of Typeform, comes from Barcelona, Spain
  • Sarah Prevette, founder of (among other things) Sprouter in Canada
  • Quentin Sannié, founder of Devialet, a leading French company (yes, we also love French entrepreneurs!)
  • Demet Mutlu, a Turkish entrepreneur who founded Trendyol, the largest Turkey-based e-fashion startup
  • Joel Gascoigne, founder of Buffer, a tool that any good social media manager knows.
  • Ida Tin, founder of female health startup Clue, comes from Germany. Her favorite F-word is Femtech :)

You can navigate through the list on a world map we put up on our website. Check it out!

Billions raised, thousands employed, dozens acquired

Now, let’s get back to those awesome numbers we were talking about. Collectively, this group would probably make up one damn amazing investor portfolio. And at Station F, we believe in the power of the group!

  • 23 board members had their startup acquired (some of them even several times) and 13 of them acquired startups. That’s a lot of M&A.
  • In total, the disclosed amount of funds raised is $5 billion. If we add our insider info, the reality should be closer to $10billion.
  • 3 companies IPO’d
  • 5 founders led companies that were or are considered as “unicorns
  • The sum of employees of each company: 25k worldwide. That’s a whole city you’ve got there, and roughly 3x the number of people we can fit into Station F.

Not afraid of the challenge? Only a few days left to apply!

We have already received a ton of applications, but you can still apply to join STATION F’s Founders Program. Please fill out your application before Feb. 5th at Midnight.

Everything we offer on campus and through the Founders Program is 100% entrepreneur-validated, with high ambitions and a worldwide reach. This is why we’ve assembled a team of top entrepreneurs to help us pick who should join.
