You might have heard of Taavet Hinrikus, co-founder and Chairman of London-based Transferwise, Kevin Ryan, founder of MondoDB, or our local pride Fred Mazella, founder and CEO of Blablacar? Well, they are all INSEAD alumni. And now INSEAD comes to STATION F to launch a startup programme to help more entrepreneurs scale and grow internationally.

INSEAD’s LaunchPad at STATION F: a startup programme, events series, and MBA collaboration

INSEAD has educated an important number of successful entrepreneurs and has campuses in Europe, Asia and the Middle-East; achievements that have led the Financial Times to rank its MBA programme #1 for two consecutive years in 2016 and 2017. 1400 Degree programme participants and 11,000 executives graduate from INSEAD each year: that’s a pretty cool network of alumni to tap into, don’t you think?

The INSEAD partnership with us revolves around 4 pillars:

  • A startup programme for companies ran by INSEAD alumni, based on campus. The programme is cross-sector and will welcome 30+ entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds
  • INSEAD Global Entrepreneurs Speaker Series: INSEAD alumni entrepreneurs will come forward to share their wealth of knowledge to the start-up community at Station F and the broader Paris tech scene. Confirmed speakers for 2018 include:

Nicolas Brusson (France, MBA 2007), co-founder and CEO of BlaBlaCar on “Managing your VC” and “Diversification Strategies”

Jade Huang (New York, MBA 2013), CEO and founder of StyleSage, on “Building a Virtual Assistant for Managing in an Industry Vertical.”

Kirk Krappe (Silicon Valley, MBA 88), founder and CEO of Apttus on how AI in contract management has the potential to drive future growth and enhance productivity

Ambareen Musa (UAE, MBA 2007), founder and CEO of Souqalmal.com, on “Creating Financial Services Platforms”

Kevin Ryan (New York, MBA 90), founder of numerous companies including Gilt Groupe, Business Insider and MongoDB, on ,“Life as a Serial Entrepreneur”

  • INSEAD MBA collaboration: INSEAD MBA participants will have the opportunity to engage with and to support STATION F startups through project work and internships.
  • Faculty Master Classes: INSEAD’s world-leading faculty will offer 75 minutes standalone classes on topics such as Leadership, Strategy, Digital Marketing, Operations, Finance, Entrepreneurship and Decision Sciences.

Some of INSEAD’s LaunchPad have already moved into STATION F and show their enthusiasm on Instagram — well, we are excited too!

Do’s and Don’ts of Scaling Globally with Frédéric Mazzella, CEO of Blablacar, Taavet Hinrikus, CEO of Transferwise, and Jo Bertram, ex-Uber now EQT ventures

To celebrate this new partnership, INSEAD and us threw a panel discussion with top entrepreneurs from the INSEAD network: Fred Mazella, Taveet Hinrikus and Jo Bertram. A first of the many more conferences organized by INSEAD at STATION F!
