Infused with the essence of spring renewal, the beginning of 2022 looks to continue under a sign of growth in the celebrity makeup and skincare segment; the market has seen several successful launches recently, including the introduction of new brands, re-introduction of crowd favorites and even expansion of established brands into new retail opportunities.

Over the last few years the market has witnessed a tide of celebrity-backed beauty companies, and as some quickly became beauty staples with a loyal followings like Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty, others are not lagging behind as up-and-coming favorites like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Rose Inc. and Ariana Grande’s R.E.M. Beauty launched just last November. Closing the first quarter of 2022, there is already a pretty impressive roster of newly announced celebrity makeup and beauty brands while apparently consumers have been more than happy to welcome them all.
