This map is generated from data collected from the GPS in our car. Some parts that we accessed by boat and foot are not tracked.

We arrived in back in Picton after having seen the parts of the South Island that we wanted to see. We did not make it as far south as initially planned since this magnificent country keeps surprising us. Everywhere you go there is something cool to see and experience. So why keep driving? All you do is pass one amazing thing after the other! So we decided to slow down, and take the time to see the things on our way.

The highlight for me was without a doubt the 5 day hike on the Abel Tasman Coastal Track.

We’ve been so incredibly lucky with the weather on the South Island. We spent the last days staying at a lavender farm, visiting a winery, and of cause doing some more hiking.
