Stay Safe Dundee’s weekly briefings occur each Sunday which provides information on the number of cases, number of people in hospital and ICU and the differences from the week before.

Summary

Positive cases (152, -6 from last week)

This week has seen a decrease in the number of cases from last week which stood at 158, it is now down by 6 to 152.

7 day positive rate (101.8, -8.7 from last week)

The 7 day positive rate has decreased by quite a bit. An 8.7 decrease looks good but as ever more needs to be done to supress the virus as much as possible

Patients in hospital (70, -5 from last week)

70 patients were admitted to hospital in the NHS Tayside area which is a decrease of 5 from last week.

ICU patients (5, +5 from last week)

However, despite it is great to see numbers decreasing, ICU patients have gone up by 5 from the last week. 5 have been admitted to ICU in the NHS Tayside area.
