Southern 360 has signed a new partnership with the award-winning career development platform, Stay Nimble, as it continues to invest in the employment and skills of residents.

Dubbed the ‘Headspace’ of career coaching, the Stay Nimble platform empowers residents to successfully navigate their working lives.

By partnering with this award-winning tech social enterprise, Southern 360 is investing in technology alongside its other support activities to individuals that it has been providing over the last 10 years.

The introduction of the Stay Nimble platform is also an important aspect of provision in the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that residents can access expertise and guidance via any device at a time when in-person support is more challenging.

For many years, Southern Housing Group has been creating, funding and delivering projects to help residents access employment, skills and training opportunities.

Whether that is looking for work, seeking a better job, considering changing careers or starting a business, Southern 360 staff are happy to go above and beyond to assist their residents’ needs.

Starting with 30 residents who will be invited to register on the Stay Nimble platform, participants will embark on a five-step career development journey, starting with identifying their strengths and transferable skills through to the practical advice needed for writing CVs and cover letters.

Residents will also get access to a marketplace of learning courses so members can upskill or retrain depending on their chosen career direction.

Southern 360 will make the Stay Nimble platform accessible to all residents across Southern Housing Group, with aims to help residents gain new skills and confidence alongside taking part in training and activity to improve employability over the course of the next six months.
