DAY 1: Your adventure begins at Longshaw Estate…

Options for walks/spectacular views:

  1. Longshaw Estate

Longshaw Estate is a walkers paradise, offering a variety of spectacular countryside walks. Go for a gentle stroll to the pond, or strike out further afield if you’re up for a challenge!

Feeling peckish? Grab lunch at the Croft Cabin, located near the welcome building in the main Woodcroft car park.

2. Padley Gorge

Get lost in the magic of Padley Gorge, a deep but narrow valley in a woodland setting with tumbling waterfalls and gently flowing streams. Dogs are also welcome!

3. Stanage Edge

Popular with walkers and rock climbers, Stanage Edge boasts spectacular views of Dark Peak moorlands and the Hope Valley. Fun fact: This beautiful location, unsurprisingly, was featured in the classic film ‘Pride & Prejudice’, starring Keira Knightley.

DAY 2: Discover the Peak District’s most challenging and spectacular walks…

Options for walks/spectacular views:

  1. Kinder Scout

Embark on an epic journey and follow the Kinder Scout Walk, a 14.5km walk which promises awe-inspiring views and fun day out for adventure lovers. This walk isn’t for the faint-hearted, but if you’re up for the challenge, embrace the day and explore the Peak District’s most physically demanding terrain, the Kinder Plateau.

2. Mam Tor

If you fancy something less challenging, the Mam Tor is perfect for you! This circular walking route will lead you to the most dramatic viewpoints in the Peak District.

Enjoy a unique swimming experience at Hathersage’s outdoor swimming pool.

How to book a slot: Tickets go on sale on their website to Non Members every Friday at 7am for session in taking place the following week (Monday — Sunday).

2. Monsal trail

This stunning traffic-free trail (suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse riders) takes you on an exciting journey through the Peak District’s most spectacular limestone dales.

DAY 3: Enjoy a relaxing day in Bakewell and Matlock…

  1. Bakewell

Situated on the banks of the River Wye, Bakewell is a quaint market town in Derbyshire and is home to the famous Bakewell puddings.

2. Chatsworth House

Get lost in the history of the beautiful Chatsworth House. With 105 acres of land to explore, impressive surroundings, a historic garden and a farmyard, there is plenty to do here. You can even book to feed very cute lambs in the farmyard!

Parking: If you’re travelling by car, you must book parking in advance. Tickets are not available to buy on-site.
