The Donald, as he used to be called, is not a happy man. He’s the original guy for whom wealth could not buy happiness. You would think gold toilets and faucets would be enough, but no. You would think having the name Trump appear on office buildings and hotels all over the world would be enough, But that doesn’t do it either. So now he wants to Make America Great Again. But how? He already tried once, and all he got for his efforts was Covid and a loss in the 2020 election.

It’s almost as if God himself were trying to send a message.

Why would he throw his hat in the ring again? Presuming he actually did want to make us great again, he has already seen where the boundaries to that goal lie. They lie in the American people, half of whom greet his efforts with utmost distrust, and part in the randomness of the universe, which ruined his perfect economy with Covid.

But Donald Trump is no spiritualist. His fundamental philosophy is not that life is suffering unless you accept Jesus. Or Allah. Or the Middle Way. Quite the contrary, it’s the Prosperity Gospel.Therefore, he can’t understand why every once in a while, he himself has to suffer. The fact that he’s a “billionaire” should have precluded this. And yet he is suffering now. You can see it in his body language. He no longer looks like a winner.

He can’t get no respect.

Fundamentally, he’a a complainer, and he has dragged the national mood down along with his own as he questions the lack of “perfection” around him. If you were married to this guy and he hung around the house…
