Why Clubhouse Caught On

Every day for the past four or five weeks I’ve spent at least an hour talking to strangers on a new audio app called Clubhouse. Well, they used to be strangers, but now many of them are friends.

When I first started doing it, I thought I was just following my early adopter nose; every time someone asks me if I want to beta test something, I always say yes. This habit has led me down some blind alleys, like Google Glass, but also to some life-changing experiences like Twitter and Facebook. I believe Clubhouse will be one of those, at least for me.
