Testnet Tutorial for StealthPay v2
The latest update to the StealthSwap protocol, StealthPay v2, is now live on mainnet. For users who wish to test out it’s functionality, we have now released the StealthPay v2 testnet.
You can access the testnet by visiting https://staging-coolest-eth.web.app.
In order to get testnet OWL, you must do the following:
1. Visit the testnet OWL faucet
In order to claim testnet OWL you must connect to Ropsten Etherscan via Web3. We recommend Metamask as the standard Web3 provider.
The testnet OWL faucet can be found here: https://ropsten.etherscan.io/address/0xb86389f28c0798AA07721a2Fb355aF5E7cD23C98#writeContract.

2. Connect via Web3 Provider
Click on the “Connect to Web3” button. It should prompt you with the option to choose your Web3 provider. Choose the one you are currently using.
Once you have successfully connected to Ropsten Etherscan, the “Connect to Web3” button will turn blue with a green button to its left. This signals a successful connection.
3. Claim testnet OWL
Once you have connected to Ropsten Etherscan, you must now click on the claim function.
Once you do this, it will reveal a blue “write” button.
Click the blue “write” button. You will now be prompted to confirm an Ethereum transaction on Metamask.
Click “Confirm”.
Once the transaction has been confirmed on the Ropsten Testnet, you will receive 10 testnet OWL. This is the maximum amount of OWL given per address.
Testing StealthPay v2
This guide is solely for users wanting to try out StealthPay without using their own funds. If you are completely new to StealthPay’s UI and want to try it out on testnet then you can use our user guide here. Just be sure you are connected to the Ropsten testnet.
