Steelboso shines bright as one of the ten “Stars of the Stars” at ComeUp 2023

The highly anticipated ComeUp 2023 event, renowned as the premier startup-led exhibition, concluded with resounding success at Seoul’s Dongdaemun Design Plaza from October 8 to 10, 2023. This global gathering brought together participants from 35 countries and nearly 160 venture capitalists, establishing itself as a pivotal platform for innovation, collaboration, and unparalleled networking opportunities.

The exhibition showcased an array of startup booths and facilitated business matching sessions with investors. It provided an avenue for exceptional startups across diverse sectors, including industrial digitalization, biotech, consumer services, and more.

Out of the 960 startups, 130 were handpicked to participate in this year’s event following rounds of rigorous assessments and business analysis. From this group, a panel of esteemed investors and business leaders identified 20 standout companies as “ComeUp Stars,” recognizing their extraordinary potential to make significant strides in their respective industries.

Taking the spotlight to the next level, a 1-on-1 stage competition was held to showcase the innovative business ideas of the selected startups. In a face-off, steelboso went head-to-head with 4dayworks, a healthcare supplement platform startup, in the intense “Versus” stage. CEO Yunki Jo emerged triumphant, propelling steelboso into the final round of pitching to the high-profile investors.

Following an impressive final presentation, Steelboso clinched a spot among the top 10 companies, earning the prestigious title of “Stars of the Stars.” This accolade not only signifies their exceptional performance but also grants them priority in crucial aspects such as business matching, investor meetings, and access to incubation programs.
