My career has developed between technical and product managing roles, thus developing a business-based approach to delivering complex technical solutions. I have been the Product Manager and Product Owner for ambitious publishing projects: I have been consulting clients and designing products with attention to details, and I have informed and motivated stakeholders to make the necessary business and technology choices.

My economics degree and the financial studies started my career as a financial analyst, helping to build a solid foundation in business-driven environments and understanding metrics, while the sales path at Xerox Inc. gave me a powerful experience in negotiation and first-person problem solving. Transitioning from Xerox to software and product development for digital publishers furtherly improved my base skills and gave me the opportunity to experiment with the latest technologies that drive today’s successful digital products.

I’m a business product manager helping media, publishing and e-commerce companies to thrive in today’s fast-changing digital landscape. I pick up short and medium term projects leading an internal or external team of developers, designers, project managers and marketing people and I act as the product owner. Depending on the environment and the business case, I act as the product manager for specific product developments ranging from 3 months to 6 months. Most of the projects start from inception and business case design and run continuously through delivery.

I have owned and successfully delivered several digital publishing projects during my 6 years experience at thePrintLabs in London. With a time-sensitive and coherent approach to business cases, I have delivered 6+ mobile, HTML based, digital edition apps across the iOS and the Android platform. I have mastered WordPress development to build scalable web sites.

I have built a custom subscription management system currently delivering subscriptions and sales on metered-access premium platforms. I have extensive experience with WordPress and CMS/editorial system workflow technologies. Design, business and user cases have been part of all the projects so far, ranging from web site redesigns, purchase process optimisations and distribution channel implementation (Google AMP, Instant Articles, Apple News, Medium publications, etc.).

Pressroom: a multi-channel publishing platform for WordPress

Together with my team of developers I have built PressRoom, a multi-channel publishing platform for WordPress. PressRoom is currently used to build and distribute HTML based digital editions to iOS Apps, Web Sites and Web Apps while managing purchases and conditional access.
