Calling All Tweeters!
This year, we’re dedicated to building out the Stegos brand across all mediums. As the saying goes, “it takes a village,” so we’ve put together some STG prizes for those who help us out on Twitter!
To celebrate the launch of Stegos official exchange listing to Bithumb Global, we are hosting a Twitter competition for our community. If you haven’t done so already, sign up to trade STG on Bithumb here. From now until January 28, tweet about Stegos and you’ll automatically be entered. 280 characters and a world of possibilities — so get tweeting!
The Prize Pool
This competition carries a prize pool of 20,000 STG. The prize breakdown is as follows:
- First Place: 7,500 STG
- Second Place: 5,000 STG
- Third Place: 2,500 STG
- Fourth Place: 1,500 STG
- Fifth Place: 1,000 STG
- Sixth-Tenth Place: 500 STG
How to Participate
Step 1: Have a Twitter account.
Completed Step 1? You’re ready to go! Tweet about Stegos to automatically enter the competition. Make sure to include our hashtag (#Stegos) and cashtag ($STG) in your tweets, so we can see that you’ve entered.
Important: There is no limit to entries, and the prizes are for best tweets, not best overall participants. So you CAN win multiple prizes! So start tweeting, and don’t stop!
Judging Criteria
We want to build Stegos exposure and spread our message. We’re looking for tweets that reflect the mission, ideology, technology or impact of Stegos that reach the broadest audience possible.
We’ll be judging your tweets based on three criteria:
- Content
- Creativity
- Reach/Engagement
Different Ways to Play
Twitter supports many different types of content, and we’re looking for a mix of everything. Images, gifs, and videos are equally as welcome as text-based tweets. Tweets can be serious or silly. They can emphasize Stegos tech or share memes.
They can be top-level tweets or well-placed replies to pertinent conversations: perhaps you interact with a thread on government surveillance, or insert yourself in a back-and-forth on usability.
Think about what might work best and pull the trigger. You’re free to try different things and see what sticks. Have fun and earn some STG!

You may have noticed several Stegos-branded memes have been circulating in community channels recently. In building out the project’s social media presence, we’re also compiling a library of Stegos media to share across various mediums.
You are free to use the memes as you best see fit and incorporate them into your tweets. In fact, we’d love to see them used more. Download the meme folder here, or feel free to create your own!
