12. Österreichischer Radgipfel vom 27. bis 29. Mai 2019 in Graz — jetzt anmelden!
Unter dem Motto „radfahren.verbindet“ findet in Graz vom 27. bis 29. Mai der 12. Österreichische Radgipfel statt. Die steirische Radfahrhauptstadt Graz lädt Sie dazu ein, in Dialog mit nationalen und internationalen Expertinnen und Experten zu treten. Im und rund um den Veranstaltungsort des Messecongress Süd erwartet Sie ein abwechslungsreiches Programm mit über 50 spannenden Vorträgen und Workshops sowie einem attraktiven Rahmenprogramm.
Die diesjährigen Keynote-Vorträge legen den Fokus auf „Radverkehr im urbanen Umfeld“. Graz, Ljubljana (SLO) und Groningen (NL), drei Städte mit ähnlicher Ausgangslage in Bezug auf Fläche, Bevölkerung und Topographie, haben auffällige Unterschiede in der Zugangsweise, in der sie eine passende Ausgangslage für den Radverkehr schaffen. Was verbindet diese Städte, was unterscheidet sie, und welche Schlüsse lassen sich aus den jeweiligen Zugängen zum Radverkehr ziehen? Ein Einblick in die Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft dieser Städte, kombiniert mit einem thematischen Ausflug in ihr Umland — die Stadtregionen.
Eine umfangreiche Aussteller-Expo, eine Poster- / Ballon-Session und ein Fahrraddiebstahlschutz-Workshop des Grazer Urban Mobility Labs, bieten etliche Möglichkeiten, Fachwissen auszutauschen und vertiefende Gespräche zu führen. Am Montag, den 27.5.2019 gibt der Startup-Workshop von City Changer Cargobike Interessierten interessante Einblicke in spezifische Geschäftsmodelle rund um das Transportrad.
Rahmenprogramm und Exkursionen
Ein weiterer Höhepunkt ist die Kooperation mit dem „CityRadeln Graz“, ein Radkorso durch die Grazer Innenstadt, der mit einer großen Radgipfel-Party im „Dom im Berg“ endet. Zum Abschluss des Radgipfels laden am Mittwoch, 29.5.2019 Nachmittag spannende Exkursionen zum Thema „Radmobilität in Graz“ ein.

Register now: Austrian Cycling Summit 2019 in Graz from 27th to 29th of May 2019
The 12th edition of the Austrian Cycling Summit is going to take place in Graz from May 27th to 29th 2019 under the general motto „cycling.connects”. The Styrian cycling capital Graz invites you to participate and exchange know-how and experience with national and international experts during these three days. You will be awaited with an exciting program including over 50 interesting sessions, workshops and attractive side events.
This year’s keynote speeches focus on urban cycling — what connects different cycling cities, what distinguishes them from each other, and what conclusions can be drawn of it? Graz, Ljubljana (SLO) and Groningen (NL) — three cities with similar framework conditions regarding inhabitants, urban area, and topography — take noticeably different approaches when it comes to preparing suitable conditions for bicycle transport. Insights into the past, present, and future of these cities combined with a thematic excursion into the surroundings — the cities’ regions.
In addition, a bicycle-theft-prohibition-workshop of the Urban Mobility Lab Graz, the Expo-area with a variety of exhibition booths of cycling-related companies and initiatives, as well as the poster / balloon session offers plenty of possibilities for knowledge exchange and networking. On Monday the 27th of May a startup workshop of City Changer Cargobike provides valuable insights to specific business models for cargo bikes.
Framework Programme and Excursions
Another highlight of this year’s Cycling Summit is the cooperation with “CityRadeln Graz”, a cycling parade through the city of Graz, finishing with a great cyclists’ party in the famous cavernous venue “Dom im Berg”. On Wednesday the 29th of May in the afternoon interesting excursions invite to explore the local peculiarities and characteristics of Graz from a cyclist’s point of view.
