2016 SACNAS

SACNAS was my first conference and was an invaluable experience in my early career. I was able to meet with professionals outside my field and it strengthened my desire to pursue science. I’m excited to attend 2016 SACNAS as a graduate student! Presenting my ideas will help to enrich my work by giving me outside perspectives. SACNAS is a chance to experience science through the lens of culture. SACNAS is the only conference where you can spend the day talking research and the night at a pow-wow. I hope to bring this melding of science/culture to my lab and research.
