Tesla just outsold Mercedes-Benz in the US for the first time

- In the 3rd quarter 2018, Tesla sold 69,9k vehicles in the US, Mercedes-Benz sold 66,5k.
- Just 8 years for Tesla to overtake the company that invented the concept of the car 132 years ago.
- Tesla was also just 1,7k sold vehicles behind rival, BMW.
After this great news for Tesla, I am excited to see if Elon will be hired back in Tesla. Personally, I hope he will take the lead again, because the company will miss his unique entrepreneurship as our current “Tony Stark (Ironman)”.
Somehow the whole thing feels a little bit like when Steve Jobs was dismissed from Apple in 1985. When he came back in 1997 and Apple was almost done, he invented iMac, reinventing the company and making it the most valuable brand in the world.
