1. Amazon: Echo Look

This one really has blown me away.

Imagine the next step(s): While rendering the images into it’s massive database, the AI will recognize not only the size of your clothes. Instantly it will recommend you a list of the most relevant outfits fitting your person(a) (skin tone, hair style, eye color, etc).

So, welcome digital shopping assistant — good bye stationary shop.

2. Airbnb: React-Sketch.app

We’re investing in code as a design tool. Moving closer to working with assets that don’t only include layout and design, but also logic and data. This helps bridge the gap between engineers and designers, thus reducing the need for design specs — or redlines — and the steps between vision and reality.

So what does the future of the internet look like?

I think apps and websites as a medium will vanish. They will be replaced through virtual layers of data wich we can access via speech, vision or touch. (IoT). We wouldn’t have to unlock our smartphone an open an app for searching something on Google, or press any button for confirming an payment.

I more do like to think of it like: The internet will be one hugh website wich we can crawl for service and information.
